3 Parks for kids 6-12 Years

Do you have an older kiddo that gets bored at typical playgrounds? Don't worry, I got you. Check out these 3 parks that are great for big kids!

1. The Heights-

The Heights is located in Richmond Heights behind the recreation center. It is a fenced in playground with multiple playground structures for children of varying ages. I chose this one as one for older kids because it has a 3 story structure with large slides. Another aspect of this park that I love is the nature playscape in the back. It allows for kids to explore nature in a safe environment.

2. Indian Camp Creek-

Indian Camp Creek recently added a new incredible playground to the park. It offers multiple structures of varying sizes for kids of all ages. I included this one in this blog post because, it too, offers a 3 story climbing structure. This park is located in Foristell, MO. Even though its a ways away from St. Louis, it's worth the trip!

3. Brentwood Park-

If you haven't checked out the new Brentwood Park, you're missing out. Brentwood Park has a huge playground with multiple areas, structures and things to do. I included one in this post because of the huge climbing structure pictured below. It offers a fun environment for kids of older ages.
